Portable Bluetooth wireless speakers for iphone/ipod touch great for photoshoots!

I am a big fan of bringing music to photoshoots because it gets the models to relax and have fun and that is the best way to get great images when someone is having fun and dancing around a bit capturing a NOT so posed moment tends to be the best

I just purchased these speaker from my favorite spot amazon of course and I couldn’t be happier!

Motorola MOTOROKR EQ5 Bluetooth Portable Speaker

They hooked RIGHT up to my Apple iPod touch 8 GB and they sound great.. now dont expect a ton of bass from these speakers but they are pretty loud for speakers that are about the same size as your ipod touch/iphone.

The great thing about them is.. you can keep your iphone/ipod in your pocket or protected from the elements and just place this speaker on the sand dirt whatever and if it gets messed up thats only $25 bucks out of your pocket vs. $200.00 or up for an ipod touch or heavens forbid your iphone!

Now they do work for other bluetooth phones as well but I have not tested them out.. just wanted to pass along the info!

Jaycelle “addicted to rock” photoshoot

This was a pretty interesting shoot. After Jaycelle and I got done with a photoshoot for STROBE magazine I said lets do something totally off the wall. We were shooting at my boy Michael’s house err mansion umm castle and he happened to have about 7+ Gibson guitars laying around so we grabbed one and came up with some nifty shots.

Ok kids here we go… SOO the story goes like this: I wanted her to seem like she was sort of cracked out or a druggie… but not really on drugs but more on the idea of rock n roll. I started off having her wrap her body around the guitar.

After a couple of shot it hit me….. So I told her to lay the guitar down ( gently ) while I rolled up a $20.00 bill ( parents put your kids to bed now ) and told her to act like she is snorting the guitar string because she was “addicted to rock”

Shot Setup:

Canon Digital Rebel XTi with a Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 DC IF Macro Lens lens
1x AB1600 Alien Bee Strobe with a 20 degree GRID to give me a nice harsh spotlight.
Aperture: f/13
ISO:100
Shutter: 1/200
